OUR PROMISE TO OUR TEAM MEMBERS

White Castle is where passionate and positive people deliver Memorable Moments while enjoying a deeply fulfilling career. We are:

Family-Owned

Nine fourth-generation family members still lead our business today.

Award-Winning

Since 2021, we’ve received Great Place to Work® certification in recognition of our supportive and empowering work environment.

Socially- Responsible

We are strongly committed to diversity and sustainability.

Community-Minded

We are dedicated to improving the areas where we live, work, and serve by pledging our time and talents to make a difference in the lives of others.

Team Member-Friendly

We do everything we can to help our team members thrive personally and professionally, including resources like our Ingram-White Castle Foundation Team Member Relief Program and our Ingram-White Castle Foundation Team Member Scholarship Program.

I am always so humbled and proud of our team. For many, this is their first job, and they spend the next twenty to thirty years achieving successes they never thought possible. All the while, they continue to create Memorable Moments for our team members and our customers. They truly are an amazing group of people – the best in the business!

Great Place to Work USA Certified, April 2026 - April 2027 badge

WE’RE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. AND WE BROUGHT RECEIPTS.

We could tell you White Castle is a great place to work, but we’d rather let our team members do the talking. That’s why we’re proud to be Great Place To Work® Certified™. This recognition is based entirely on team member feedback, making it one of the most meaningful honors we can receive.

It’s all about our people.

When asked what they value most about working at White Castle, the answer is often the same: the people. That makes sense. Our culture has always put people above processes. We set high standards when hiring because great people help create a great workplace. Or as John Kelley, our Chief People Officer, says:

“We’re particular about who we let into the Castle. You can trust that the people you work with are just as dedicated, diligent, and dependable as you are.”

Finding the right fit.

We believe skills can be taught, but character can’t. We intentionally hire people with the passion, energy, and integrity to thrive in our unique culture. This culture is strengthened through structures, resources, and practices that ensure our team members enjoy a consistent experience, regardless of their department, location, or manager.

We’ve got your back.

Supporting our people is where our culture gets real. Whether it’s our Team Member Relief Fund that helps team members deal with life’s little and not-so-little emergencies or our commitment to helping team members enjoy positive work-life harmony, we treat everyone with dignity and respect. We also invest in their future through tuition assistance, defined promotion paths, and regular performance check-ins.

Whether you work in one of our Restaurants, at Our Manufacturing Plants, or in our Home Office, you’ll find a welcoming, supportive environment where you can grow, contribute, and be yourself.

What first drew you to White Castle?

My dad’s love of White Castle drew me to the company. We didn’t have a Castle in my town, so we had to drive a long way to satisfy our Crave. I remember riding in the passenger seat as a young girl with my daddy just to go to the Castle.

What first drew you to White Castle?

My childhood was spent as a Craver eating White Castle Sliders at the drive-in movies with my cousins. I became a Castle team member because my aunt would always tell me how much she loved working for White Castle.
